The 2027 Subaru Getaway in Prescott, AZ is a three-row electric SUV with seating for up to seven, a 420-horsepower all-electric drivetrain, and a range of approximately 300 miles on a full charge. A 420-horsepower all-electric drivetrain sits at the core of the Getaway. That kind of output in a family SUV means you will have plenty of power for highway merging, passing, and daily driving alike. Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is standard, sending power to all four wheels for confident traction in rain, snow, and on rougher terrain. Ground clearance measures 8.3 inches, and dual-function X-MODE with Grip Control helps the Getaway push through loose surfaces and deeper snow when the road gets challenging. Subaru rates the Getaway for up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity, so you can bring along boats, bikes, or a loaded trailer on your next trip. When the battery runs low, the Getaway is compatible with the Tesla Supercharger network, giving you access to more than 25,000 fast chargers nationwide. A charge from 10 percent to 80 percent takes roughly 30 minutes, and the total driving range sits at approximately 300 miles.
Three rows of seating accommodate up to seven passengers with a choice of six- or seven-passenger configurations on the Premium and Limited trims. The Touring comes exclusively in a six-passenger layout. Power-folding third-row seatbacks drop at the push of a button, and all that flexible space adds up to 80.6 cubic feet of cargo volume when you need it. A foot-activated hands-free power rear gate makes loading simple when your arms are full. The Premium trim starts things off with StarTex upholstery, heated front seats, and 8-way power front seats. Step up to the Limited and you get ventilated front and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row and third-row seats, raised roof rails, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The Limited in the six-passenger configuration also adds a panoramic glass roof with a retractable sunshade. Go with the Touring for leather-trimmed upholstery, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, and an exclusive finish on those 20-inch wheels. USB-C charging shows up in all three rows, and dual wireless device chargers sit up front.
Every Getaway comes with a 14.0-inch Subaru Multimedia System touchscreen that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Digital Key lets you lock, unlock, and start the vehicle from your phone. Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bi-directional charging is also standard starting at the Premium trim, so you can send stored energy back to your home when you need it. The Limited adds a 120-volt AC power outlet rated at 1,500 watts, which could keep small appliances running at a campsite or during a power outage at home. On the safety side, standard EyeSight Driver Assist Technologies include a Pre-Collision System and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. A driver monitor system helps detect signs of distraction, and Blind-Spot Monitor along with Parking Support Brake come on every trim. The Limited and Touring go further with Traffic Jam Assist for low-speed hands-free driving, Lane Change Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and Advanced Park.
