The 14th Annual WOOFstock & Adopt-A-Thon brought animal lovers together on May 30 at the Prescott Valley Civic Center for a day filled with adoptions, pet-focused vendors, contests, demonstrations, and family-friendly fun. Hosted by Prescott Dog Magazine, the event featured dozens of adoptable dogs from local rescue organizations and provided a wonderful opportunity to connect pets with loving homes. We were thrilled to see the community come together to support local animal welfare groups and celebrate the special bond between people and their pets.

Meet Hermes
Hermes is a 7 years, 10 months old male Siberian Husky/Mix who weighs 56 pounds and has been with us for 65 days.
Hermes is a lively, curious boy who greets the world with bright enthusiasm. He gets excited when someone comes to see him and may wiggle and bounce with anticipation, but once he's out and moving, his playful spirit really shines. He loves toys, especially anything he can chase, and his joyful energy can be contagious.
He's an independent explorer who enjoys taking in his surroundings and may need gentle reminders to stay tuned in to his person. With calm guidance and consistent routines, he begins to settle and respond more thoughtfully. Hermes accepts affection when offered, even if he's often more focused on the world around him, and he warms up steadily as he becomes familiar with someone.
Hermes will thrive with an adopter who can help him channel his energy in positive ways and support him with structure, patience, and mindful handling. With the right guidance, he has every potential to grow into a fun, devoted companion who enjoys both playtime and peaceful moments.
