Here's Why You Should Consider the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek

The Crosstrek has been around for about a decade, and over that time, it's become a popular option in the crossover SUV space. Many people in Prescott, AZ and beyond really appreciate how versatile this crossover is, and its standard all-wheel-drive system is an added bonus. The latest model year has advanced technology and can come with many driver-assist safety programs, and these features can make the Crosstrek even more ideal.

Crosstrek Hybrid

At Findlay Subaru Prescott, we carry five trims of the Crosstrek, one of which is a plug-in hybrid version. This hybrid uses a 2.0-liter engine and two electric motors, and it has a net horsepower that's just shy of 150. It has a towing capacity of 1,000 pounds, and its fuel economy is estimated to be 90 MPGe (combined). With electric power alone, the Crosstrek Hybrid can travel up to 17 miles, and when the electric power runs out, the gas-powered engine can take over. The transition is pretty seamless, so it's a great system to use.

Other Subaru Crosstrek Performance Options

The other trims are the Base, Premium, Sport and Limited, all of which can tow up to 1,500 pounds. The first two rely on 152-horsepower 2.0-liter engines, and they come standard with six-speed manual transmissions. If you like these trims but would be more comfortable with an automatic transmission, this engine is also available with a Lineartronic® continuously variable transmission.

The Sport and Limited have 2.5-liter engines that can make 182 horsepower. They have continuously variable transmissions, which come with eight-speed manual modes and paddle shifters, allowing you to take more control whenever you want to.

As we mentioned previously, every 2023 Crosstrek comes with all-wheel drive. This is so important when you're dealing with rough conditions around Clarkdale. The top three trims have X-MODE®, a program that can enhance traction even more. They also have Hill Descent Control, while all Crosstrek models have active torque vectoring.

Interior Features

The size of the Crosstrek is something that many of our customers appreciate. It has 20.8 cubic feet of cargo room in the back, and, by lowering down the rear seats, cargo capacity can be increased to over 55 cubic feet. There's some flexibility offered by the rear seatback since it has a 60/40-split configuration.

The Crosstrek can come with many nice amenities. The front seats can be heated to provide extra warmth in the winter, and the steering wheel can come with heating functions, too. The driver's seat is available with power-adjust functions, making it easier for Prescott Valley drivers to find the perfect position. You might be interested in getting a model with water-repellant StarTex® or leather upholstery.

Technology

The Crosstrek can be outfitted with a lot of high-tech components, including keyless access, PIN-code access and a 6.3-inch color multifunction display. Every trim comes with a center touchscreen, which includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. This touchscreen can either be 6.5 or 8 inches, depending on the trim level you choose. SiriusXM® is included with many new Crosstrek models, and navigation is an option, as well. Many of our Sedona customets will also appreciate that Wi-Fi capability has been integrated into nearly every trim level.

Safety Systems

Subaru vehicles are known for being safe and reliable, and it's easy to put your confidence in the new Crosstrek. It's available with forward collision alert, emergency braking and lane departure alert. It can also come with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Some trims are further enhanced with reverse automatic braking, which can come in handy in crowded Chino Valley parking lots.
